NSW is viewed as the critical growth state within the national network and this role will be central to delivering the next phase of growth, operational excellence and performance across the state.
The Role
of State Manager NSW will lead the NSW business with full accountability across financial, operational, sales and people outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* End-to-end leadership of the NSW operation, owning P&L performance, service delivery, safety and team engagement
* Driving operational excellence across depots, carriers and customer service, ensuring consistent execution against national standards and KPIs
* Optimising network capacity, cost and performance to support growth in a highly competitive parcel and courier market
* Leading state-level consolidation initiatives and contributing to national network design and optimisation
* Partnering closely with sales and national leaders to deliver customer-focused growth while maintaining strong governance, compliance and risk management
This is a hands-on, highly visible leadership role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced, outcomes-driven environments.
We're Looking For
a proven senior operational leader with strong commercial instincts and the credibility to lead a complex, growing business.
Specifically, you will bring:
* Senior leadership experience within parcel, courier or freight operations, ideally across overnight and same-day delivery environments
* Strong commercial acumen with full P&L ownership, and experience partnering closely with sales and finance to drive growth
* A track record of solving complex operational challenges at pace, demonstrating resilience, agility and sound judgement
* Experience in network design, route optimisation, territory planning and scaling operations, ideally across mixed or outsourced fleet models
* A highly visible, hands-on leadership style with the ability to set clear direction and lead teams through change
