Your Opportunity
As an Employment Consultantin the Workforce Australia program, you'll play a key role in helping participants overcome barriers and prepare for meaningful employment. You'll provide tailored, person-centred support that builds confidence, enhances employability, and connects people to job opportunities - bridging the gap between potential and possibility.
* Coach Potential: Build strong, trusting relationships, understand individual goals, and deliver tailored coaching that helps participants overcome barriers and thrive.
* Create Pathways: Support participants through resumes, job applications, and interview preparation - building confidence and employability every step of the way.
* Connect Opportunities: Partner with employers to uncover meaningful roles and foster collaborative, long-term relationships.
* Caseload Management:Manage participant caseloads with care and efficiency, ensuring tailored support throughout the employment journey - including smooth internal handovers to post-placement support teams.
* Drive Compliance & Quality: Maintain accurate records and uphold program standards to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with contract performance goals.
This position involves working across both our Kilmore and Seymour offices, so flexibility to travel between these locations is essential.
What You Bring
A background in employment services, training, or recruitment is desirable, but not essential. We're looking for someone who brings the right mindset and strengths across the following areas:
* Empathetic Coaching: Apply a strengths-based, emotionally intelligent approach to guide participants toward employment.
* Relationship Building: Skilled in developing trust-based connections and adapting communication styles with empathy and professionalism.
* Organised & Adaptable:Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, balancing administrative demands with people-centred service delivery.
* Tech Savvy:Confident with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital tools.
* Pre-Requisites:Full work rights in Australia, with the ability to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
