This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering to launch their career as a Laboratory Technician - with comprehensive training provided! You'll gain hands-on experience working with cutting-edge instrumentation and collaborate with a dynamic, highly skilled team driving innovation in sustainable construction technologies.
Duties:
- Conduct physical testing of products
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment
- Accurately report test results to engineering teams
- Perform data entry and maintain detailed, up-to-date records
- Support production line operations
- Perform quality control inspections
- Participate in both internal and external audits
- Organise and manage incoming raw materials
Note: This role is split between the laboratory and the production area
Skills & Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
- Practical experience in a laboratory environment
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Strong data interpretation and analytical skills
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
- Solid computer literacy and technical aptitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
