 
        
        Ballina Optometry is seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, experienced receptionist/admin & optical assistant to be the welcoming face of the business 1-2days/week, with availability to do additional days to cover personal/holiday leave of the permanent receptionist. A passion for providing excellent customer service & ability to work as part of a small team is a necessity in this 40 year old independent Optometry business. 
Ability to learn quickly and strong computer skills are a necessity as well as previous experience with reception and administration duties, preferably in the health industry, with medicare, health fund & eftpos payments and liasing with appropriate government bodies. At least basic account software knowledge and experience in account preparation is an advantage. 
You will be required to learn an Optometry-specific computer program that is the backbone of all we do.

Pay: From $13,000.00 per year 
Expected hours: 7.5 - 15 per week
