ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for AHPRA registered Nurse Practitioner leaders to provide advanced nursing assessment, diagnosis, care and intervention to patients and their carers. This role offers exciting career progression opportunities and a generous renumeration with travel allowance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide expert care to patients and their families in accordance with Nurse Practitioner legislation including:
* Patient assessment and diagnosis
* Prescribing medications as appropriate
* Ordering and analyzing pathology and radiological testing
* Referring patients to various Health Professionals
* Participate in peer and case review procedures as deemed appropriate by the Professional Services Operations Manager/ Senior Nurse Practitioner/ Collaborating Medical Practitioner
* Contribute to clinic workforce development programs
PROFESSIONAL REGULATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
* Compliance with relevant Federal/State legislation, DoH and Clinic policies, and local procedures as they pertain to the delivery of health services and prescribing of scheduled medicines
* Current Immunization Certification as per your relevant State / Territory - this can be gained post offer if not yet completed
* AHPRA registration and Registered Nurse endorsement
* Maintained eligibility to participate under Medicare
