Job Description
The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV) is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years.
The proposed project consists of a program of works across three Department of Defence establishments including:
The proposed capital investment of $2 billion will incorporate a variety of elements including:
* Construction of new messing and living in accommodation
* Construction of new training facilities
* Refurbishment and upgrading of existing buildings
* Remedial works and upgrades to infrastructure services
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisors – Infrastructure to lead the on‐site delivery of critical services works at RAAF Base Wagga & Blamey Barracks Kapooka. These roles oversee the installation services including HV electrical, potable water, fire water and sewer infrastructure, providing day to day leadership while coordinating subcontractors to ensure safe, high‐quality and compliant delivery across work packages.
What you'll do
* Supervise the delivery of services infrastructure including HV electrical, water, fire and sewer mains
* Lead and coordinate subcontractors to meet safety, quality and program requirements
* Provide on‐site direction and support to the Project and Site Engineers
* Assist with resolving design, constructability and sequencing issues
* Support quality control, commissioning and close‐out of services work packages
What you'll bring
* Trade or engineering background in services or civil infrastructure (engineering qualification desirable)
* Proven experience supervising services infrastructure installations in a construction environment
* Strong capability coordinating subcontractors and managing site delivery
* Understanding of quality, safety and commissioning processes for services works
* Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers on site highly regarded
This role is based at Wagga Wagga. Relocation assistance is available for the successful candidate if required. This is not a DIDO or FIFO role, applicants must be willing to relocate, be an Australian citizen and willing to obtain a security clearance.
