About the Role
As a Home Lending Specialist, you'll work closely with customers as they navigate important milestones—buying their first home, renovating, or refinancing. You'll provide tailored solutions and make the process smooth and stress-free.
Your role is all about:
* Guiding customers through the lending process
* Understanding their needs and recommending the right solutions
* Building genuine relationships and delivering exceptional service
Who We're Looking For
You might have experience in lending, retail banking, broking, lending support—and a passion for helping people and growing your home lending experience. Ideally, you will bring:
* Experience assessing, recommending and processing loans
* Experience in handling client documents (bank statements, payslips, basic financials, tax returns, etc.)
* Knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn lending products, policies, and compliance
* Excellent relationship-building and networking skills
* Adaptability and willingness to occasionally travel for work
* Ability to work in our Coffs Harbour branch (this is an in-branch role)
* Positive, proactive attitude to identify and source new business
