Regional Group Australia is a leading independent Australian construction material producer across VIC, NSW & QLD. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Sales Manager to join our team.
Overview of role:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing Regional Group's sales policies, objectives, and initiatives. The Sales Manager will set short and long-term sales strategies and evaluate effectiveness of current sales programs.
Key responsibilities:
* Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas, projected sales volume and profit.
* Developing and driving business by pro-actively sourcing and actioning sales leads.
* Identifying, building and developing new client businesses within target markets.
* Tracking sales goals and reporting results to the Regional Group management team.
* Building commercial and professional networks to support Regional's strategic growth opportunities.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to develop and lead tailored solution efforts that best address customer requirements.
* Meet and exceed predetermined KPIs and sales targets.
* Ability to identify and harness new business ideas and opportunities and turn these into sales
* Providing accurate and timely forecasts of future market trends
Knowledge and experience required:
* 3+ years previous experience in a similar role, preferably with sales management
* Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
* Demonstrated experience in achieving sales targets and KPI's
* Experience in customer relationship management
* Experience in managing and directing a sales team
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* High-level proficiency with MS Office programs
* Ability to work autonomously
