Education Team Manager

The Education Team Manager is responsible for the direct supervision and line management of the staff in the Navigator and Diverge Teams. Navigator and Diverge teams support clients with a specific focus on education, re-engagement with education and early-intervention and prevention of criminal engagement. This is completed through collaborative work with internal and external stakeholders, such as Federal Government, Department of Education and Training, Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, Police and Youth Justice.
Selection Criteria:
* A relevant tertiary qualification such as Social Work, Psychology, Behavioural or Social Science or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the supervision and leadership of staff.
* Ability to provide supervision, leadership, and direction from a sound theoretical knowledge.
* Demonstrated knowledge of the Case Management Framework and strengths-based and trauma informed approaches to client services.
* Expert knowledge in best practice principles and demonstrated ability to coach and mentor the members of your team in these practices.
* Proven capacity to exhibit high level written and verbal communication whilst maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Ability to maintain high volume administrative tasks and ensure compliance with deadlines, auditing, reporting and data requirements.
