Job Description
18-Month Fixed Term ContractWe are seeking a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Product Owner to lead the ongoing evolution, optimisation, and performance of our global eCommerce platform.
In this role, you will own the Salesforce Commerce Cloud product roadmap, ensuring the platform delivers a seamless, scalable, and elevated client experience while supporting the business’s global commercial strategy. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business priorities into clear product requirements and delivering high-impact digital initiatives.
Working closely with teams across Digital, Retail, Marketing, IT, Operations, and Finance, as well as external technology partners, you will prioritise and deliver platform enhancements, manage the product backlog, and ensure Salesforce Commerce Cloud continues to evolve to support growth, omnichannel integration, and operational excellence.Success in this role will be measured by platform performance, user experience improvements, revenue growth, and the successful delivery of prioritised product initiatives.
Job Requirements
Digital Product Ownership: 5+ years’ experience managing digital products or platforms, ideally within eCommerce environments.Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.Salesforce Commerce Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, ideally in a Product Owner or product management capacity.eCommerce Architecture & Integrations: Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, middleware, and third-party platforms (e.g., Zendesk, MuleSoft, NewStore, AP21, payment gateways).Agile Product Management: Experience working in Agile environments, managing product backlogs, writing user stories, and collaborating with engineering and QA teams.Customer Experience & UX Awareness: Strong appreciation for user experience, digital design standards, and customer journey Problem Solving: Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable digital solutions and prioritised product Management & Influence: Comfortable working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders across Digital, Retail, Marketing, IT, and Acumen: Understands how digital product decisions impact revenue, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.Organisation & Prioritisation: Highly organised and able to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced global environment.
Job Responsibilities
Own and manage the Salesforce Commerce Cloud product roadmap, aligning platform development with business and commercial priorities.Act as the primary product owner for the eCommerce platform, translating stakeholder needs into clear product requirements and user stories.Manage and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring the development team is focused on high-value closely with engineering, QA, and external development partners to deliver new features, enhancements, and platform improvements.Collaborate with teams across Digital, Retail, Marketing, IT, Operations, and Finance to identify opportunities for platform continuous improvement of the online customer experience, including site performance, functionality, and conversion seamless integration between eCommerce, CRM, ERP, payment gateways, and other third-party platform performance and analytics (GA4 and commercial KPIs) to inform product decisions and identify growth opportunities.Support the delivery of omnichannel initiatives that enhance the connection between online and retail experiences.Partner with QA teams to ensure robust testing processes and smooth release cycles.Work with technology and agency partners to ensure delivery quality, accountability, and alignment with product priorities.Maintain product documentation, governance standards, and best practices for the eCommerce emerging technologies and platform capabilities that support scalability and long-term digital growth.Support a safe and healthy workplace in compliance with WHS requirements.
