Job Summary
Design and deliver innovative STEM programs and communications that inspire the next generation of learners and connect education with industry and community.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging STEM learning experiences using design-based and inquiry-based approaches.
* Create content and resources using digital, visual and interactive media to support program delivery.
* Support and promote STEM initiatives across Tech Schools through events, exhibitions and online channels.
* Collaborate with educators, industry partners and stakeholders to design innovative learning programs.
* Participate in planning and delivery of Tech School events, workshops and activities.
* Facilitate student learning experiences and support inquiry-based projects with secondary students.
* Provide guidance on presentation and exhibition of resources in physical and digital environments.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of programs, content and engagement strategies.
* Support general administrative and operational activities within the Tech School.
Essential Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications and/or experience in STEM, design, science, technology or a related field.
* Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including young people.
* Experience developing and delivering engaging learning activities, programs or educational content.
* Strong digital, written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‐paced, team‐based environment and manage competing priorities.
* Experience using technology, materials and creative approaches to deliver innovative learning solutions.
Desirable Qualifications
* Experience working with secondary schools, educators or young people.
* Experience delivering programs, events or exhibitions in an educational or community setting.
* Knowledge of STEM education trends, design thinking or innovation frameworks.
Mandatory Checks
* Valid Victorian Working with Children Check (Employee).
* National Police Check.
* Any other role-specific employment, regulatory or safety checks required for the position.
