Stantec is seeking talented graduates to join our Transport Planning Graduate Program in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.

What Does a Transport Planner in Our Transport Team Do?
* Undertake site inspections and gather baseline information on road environment, traffic and road safety, parking inventories and facilities.
* Plan, supervise, and conduct traffic and parking surveys.
* Analyze traffic and parking data using Excel for demand forecasts and SIDRA modelling.
* Assess and provide design advice for transport infrastructure and operations, including pedestrian pathways, cycling and end‐of‐trip facilities, and car parking layouts.
* Prepare draft reports and accompanying correspondence as directed for RPEQ projects.
* Obtain and analyze crash data to identify road safety concerns and potential treatments.
* Attend client meetings where appropriate to support RPEQ projects.
* Be prepared for occasional after‐hours work, such as industry activities, transport network operation observations, or evening site inspections.

Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
* Passion for learning and problem‐solving.
* Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or New Zealand Citizen.
* Currently in final year of degree or 1–2 years post‐graduation.
