About the role
Crowies Coatings Pty Ltd, a leading distributor of automotive and industrial coatings, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Major Account Manager to join our team in Adelaide, SA. This full-time role is crucial in driving sales and managing key customer relationships within the automotive and industrial sectors.
What you'll be doing
* Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with major clients in the automotive and industrial coatings markets
* Identify new business opportunities and effectively pitch Crowies' comprehensive range of high-quality coatings solutions
* Understand client needs and provide tailored recommendations to meet their specific requirements
* Negotiate and secure new contracts, as well as manage the renewal of existing agreements
* Collaborate cross-functionally with the sales, marketing, and technical teams to deliver exceptional customer service
* Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic sales planning
* Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
What we're looking for
* Experience in a major account management or senior sales role, preferably within the automotive or industrial coatings industry will be considered an advantage
* Demonstrated success in building and maintaining long-term relationships with key clients
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand and interpret complex client requirements
* Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
