About the Role
This is a key position at El Vista, with direct reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will set the tone for a warm and engaging experience.
You will be responsible for managing reservations, bill processing, cashiering, greeting and seating guests, and ensuring service runs smoothly while maintaining a vibrant atmosphere.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage reservation systems, including booking, confirming and adjustments.
* Keep track of the dining area and bar, coordinating with servers and management to maintain flow.
* Greet and seat guests with warmth, professionalism and genuine hospitality, anticipating needs to enhance their experience.
* Engage with internal & external guests to promote events, specials and repeat visits.
* Assist with operations, administrative tasks, events and ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
Experience of incremental responsibility within a hotel/resort environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
