Gardner Electronics team are seeking a full-time security / communications technician to join our business. Our business installs CCTV, Intruder security, Wifi, Optic fibre, Access control for mainly commercial buildings. We are a South Gippsland based company and cover an area from Korumburra, Yarram and through to Phillip Island
This role is suited to someone who is technically minded and can work independently or in a smaller team.
In-house training will be provided to get you up to speed with our current job requirements, however you will need to have suitable background to be considered for the role. A fully stocked vehicle will be supplied for daily use.
Working days, Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm.
Income $36 - $44p/hr plus Super, Annual leave, RDO's & LSL contributions.
Responsibilities
* Install, program and commission electronic security equipment.
* Ensuring work completed follows policies & procedures.
* Liaise with customers, contractors, and team members.
* Completion of job sheets.
Role Requirements
* Working with children & Police check.
* Current WHS White card.
* Current Australian security licence.
* Current Australian driver's licence.
* Open cable registration.
* Elevated work platform licence.
* Working at heights ticket.

* Can competently use hand and power tools.
