Finance is one of our enabling functions and provides Accounts Payable services to the Capgemini business leaders, managers and employees.
**Let's talk about the role and responsibilities**:
Reporting to Finance lead, this role offers flexibility including hybrid WFH/office working arrangements
- Responsible for daily, weekly and period end transactional activities as well as internal and external customer queries
- Work collaboratively with other team members and finance management to meet the output objectives
- Manage and respond to queries coming into the Finance in-box, assign incoming invoices for processing and assist with managing issues with complex supplier accounts/reconciliations or escalations from the business, other teams or suppliers
- Support the offshore AP team with process queries, managing non-PO and urgent invoice processing (low volume) and liaise with vendor master and procurement teams to resolve process bottlenecks
- Be the local point of contact for expense management and provide support to the business, offshore teams and Amex.
- Process and manage weekly and ad hoc payment processes (Oracle and ANZ) for local and foreign currencies
- Ensure that defined quality management procedures (e.g. up to date procedures) are adhered to and updated
- Identify improvement opportunities to achieve improved throughput / cost effectiveness / smarter practices
- Builds and maintain customer relationships and manage customer expectations on daily service delivery
- Plan and complete day to day activity to meet SLA requirements and optimise efficiencies
- Complete all complex tasks that are assigned within the agreed timeframes
**Let's talk about your capability and experience**:
- Demonstrable experience and ownership of a wide range of AP end to end processes
- Ability to ensure compliance to policy while still being flexible within approval boundaries
- Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and dynamic processes
- Excellent customer service skills
