- Salary range: $41.73 to $53.53 p.h. (Nurse Grade 5)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity
The purpose of the Anaesthetic Registered Nurse is to provide direct nursing care utilising clinical skills, education and support to patients/clients, anaesthetists, and nursing staff within the Operating Theatre to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care.
A combination of 10, 9, 8 and 6 hour shifts are rostered to ensure anaesthetic nursing coverage to all theatre lists. Continuous shift work and rostering to the on-call roster is mandatory for all staff deemed competent.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- Highly Desirable: Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus.
- Adult Life Support certificate: Must be able to obtain and then maintain an annual competency in Advanced Life Support as per THHSCLI040151 Life Support Training and Assessment
- Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
- On call: Appointees may be required to participate in an on-call roster.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
