Government Contract Management Roles Available
About the Role
We are seeking detail-oriented professionals to join our team in the following roles:
* APS5 – Data Administration Officer: Support contract administration, monitor deliverables, track milestones, and maintain accurate records.
* APS6 – Procurement and Contract Administrator Officers: Lead end-to-end procurement processes, draft, negotiate, and manage contracts, provide advice on procurement strategy, risk management, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities for APS5 – Data Administration Officer
* Monitor deliverables and track milestones to ensure activities comply with Commonwealth Procurement Rules and internal policies.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support contract planning and execution.
* Contribute to reporting requirements and provide general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities for APS6 – Procurement and Contract Administrator Officers
* Lead end-to-end procurement processes for low–medium complexity procurements.
* Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts, including performance, variations, and renewals.
* Provide advice on procurement strategy, risk management, and compliance.
* Prepare procurement plans, evaluation reports, and other key documentation.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements
* Demonstrated knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and government procurement frameworks.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and analytical capability.
* Experience with procurement and financial management systems is desirable.
* Relevant qualifications in procurement, contract management, business, or a related field are desirable.
Benefits
* $55/hr - $65/hr for APS5 role.
* $65/hr - $80/hr for APS6 roles.
* Work from home and remote arrangements available upon discussion with the manager.
* 12-month Labour hire contract + 12-month extension.
