About Impact North
Impact North is an Aboriginal-controlled not-for-profit organisation supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander entrepreneurs and businesses across Northern Australia. We work at the intersection of social enterprise and remote Indigenous business, creating positive change in communities.
The role
You'll manage people and culture systems, coordinate impact measurement and reporting, and keep teams on track with regular planning cycles.
As our wellbeing champion, you'll proactively support staff wellbeing and create a psychologically safe workplace where everyone can thrive.
Your key responsibilities:
* Keep teams on track: Coordinate quarterly planning cycles, staff engagement activities and internal communications
* Recruitment and onboarding: Support hiring processes and ensure new staff feel welcomed and supported
* Employee wellbeing: Lead initiatives that strengthen engagement, recognition and wellbeing, and spot early signs of stress or burnout
* Learning and performance: Work with managers to identify training needs, coordinate development programs and support performance reviews
* HR systems and compliance: Maintain HR policies, provide WHS guidance, manage HR systems and verify payroll data
* Impact reporting: Collect program data, prepare dashboards and reports, build case studies and support grant reporting

What you need
* Tertiary qualifications in business, HR, community development or equivalent experience
* Experience in people and culture, HR or workplace engagement roles
* Understanding of HR policies, WHS compliance and people management systems
* Experience with data collection, analysis and reporting
* Impact measurement or program evaluation experience is highly regarded
