About the role
Calvary North Adelaide Hospital's Intensive Care Unit has 8 beds specialising in Critical Care, Post-Surgical High Dependency care, and complex high acuity medical patients. We offer flexible rostering, including both 12hr and 8hr shifts to accommodate working around your family needs. We pride ourselves on our friendly and supportive workplace environment, promoting a safe and positive culture for our staff and patients.
There are multiple permanent Full-Time & Part-Time positions available for the right candidates, willing to work over a 7 day rotating roster.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing outstanding comprehensive clinical care and exceptional customer service to patients and their families
* Assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs of each individual patient
* Demonstrated clinical skills and problem solving skills relevant to the care of ICU/HDU patients
* Compassionate and empathetic nature
What you bring
* Minimum 2 years post graduate experience
* Current AHPRA Registration, with nil restrictions
* Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
* Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
* Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
* A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
