Primary objective
Develop a broad range of communications, digital and social media projects from initial concept development through to delivery,
completion and evaluation to increase brand awareness and ensure the public reputation of the National Critical Care and Trauma
Response Centre is maintained.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Plan and create engaging content to promote the NCCTRC through social media and digital platforms, publications and the NCCTRC
newsletter.
2. Coordination of the NCCTRC's social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn), developing monthly content
calendars and reports, and ensuring effective moderation of comments and messages.
3. Work with members of the media and communications team to plan, create and deliver highly engaging, creative and audience-focused
content for social media, communications projects and the NCCTRC newsletter, considering brand guidelines and wider organisational
objectives.
1. Contribute to communications and marketing planning across the NCCTRC.
2. Contribute to the ongoing measurement and evaluation of the NCCTRC's social media, digital and online activity and work on new
ways to demonstrate impact.
6. Work collaboratively with NCCTRC staff and external stakeholders providing advice, guidance and support to planning, developing
and delivering communication projects.
1. Research, develop and publish content for communications for local, national and international projects ensuring that client
requirements are met to a high standard.
8. Ensure compliance with relevant privacy, copyright and information management legislation, policy, guidelines and procedures.
9. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in
order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. High level of digital literacy and Information Technology (IT) skills with the ability to think creatively about developing social media
and digital channels and communities.
2. High level knowledge and understanding of social media management, planning and processes.
3. Strong work ethic and commitment to quality outcomes with a high level of initiative and an ability to work independently to deliver
successful outcomes.
4. Demonstrated high level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills to enable communication with all levels of stakeholders.
5. Strong writing skills with experience in preparing reports and developing content for a range of communication channels targeting a
variety of audiences including social media, publications and newsletters.
6. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, conflict resolution and communication skills and an ability to interact effectively with people from
diverse cultures.
Desirable
1. Relevant Tertiary qualification in related field, or evidence of working toward.
