About the Role…
We are seeking applications from an experienced Housekeeper, with experience cleaning public areas.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, has a passion for motivating a team and take pride in their work.
Key responsibilities include:
* Service and clean hotel rooms for check-in and outs
* Maintain and clean the public areas of the hotel
* Ensure rooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard
* Check supplies, equipment and housekeeping trolleys ensuring that at all times they are fully stocked and neatly presented for use in a guest area
* Check constantly for room status discrepancies and reports to Housekeeping Department and Front Office immediately.
* Keeps things in best condition by directing work and suggesting the necessary replacement of equipment
* Drive productivity
About you…
To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:
* Minimum 1 years working within a similar position within a 4-5 star hotel is advantageous
* Experience with cleaning the public areas of a venue
* A keen eye for detail and the ability to recognise reoccurring cleaning issues
* Professional manner and exceptional customer service skills
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
* A friendly and positive attitude
* Ability to think on your feet and quickly resolve issues
