About The Role
This is not just anotherSeniorSolicitor role. It is a leadership role.
You will lead our Building & ConstructionLawpractice in Sydney or Newcastle, working closely with firm leadership whileremaininghands‐on in complex matters and client relationships.
You will:
* lead and grow theBuilding & ConstructionLawpractice,
* adviseoncommercial and residential constructionmatters,
* develop and strengthen clientand referrer relationships,
* oversee Security of Payment claims,adjudicationsand disputes,
* manage litigationacrossNSW Courts andNCAT,
* drive business development and market profile,
* mentor and developSolicitors within the team,
* contribute to broader firm strategy and growth,
* helpshape culture,standardsand future capability,and
* collaborate with other practice leaders across the firm.
Fee-earning expectations are calibrated toenable sustainable leadership success.
About You
This roleislikelytosuit you if you:
* have8+ years PAEinBuilding & Construction Law and relateddisputespractice,
* are an accomplished litigator ready for a true practice leadership role,
* arealready leading informally and ready for formal authority,
* arecommercially minded andenergisedby growth,
* have strong client relationshipskills, existing referralpartnersand business development capability,
* arean Accredited Specialist or interested in obtainingit,
* valuehigh standards,collaborationand excellent client service,and
* areambitious for equity and long-term influence.
