Customers and Services is a division within SA Housing Authority and is responsible for managing public housing to support positive outcomes for both tenants and the local areas they live in. They are part of the broader housing system determined to drive outcomes that increase the independence of their customers and achieving their own long-term housing aspirations. They assist their customers with employment opportunities, connections with other benefits and the advantages available to them.
**Your new role**
Working closely with your Team Leaders, you be will responsible for managing public housing to support positive outcomes for both tenants and the local areas they live in. Day to day tasks may include:
- Providing strategic leadership support in coordinating regional planning, resource and services to support the delivery of housing and related services across the Housing continuum.
- Providing management and support for Team Leaders.
- Identifying and developing key strategic internal and external networks to increase regional knowledge.
- Creating communication channels and providing opportunities for service connection.
- Providing leadership and guidance to SA Housing Authority Regional staff to facilitate the achievement of key performance indicators.
- Monitoring and analysing regional reports, trends and risks to develop appropriate strategies and or action plans to manage and minimise potential risks and maximise opportunities.
- Investigating and responding to escalations including ministerial enquiries and appeals.
- Support regional services staff to delivering quality customer service to the most vulnerable people in our community.
- Identify community services to meet the needs of Aboriginal individuals, families and communities as well as other cultural groups; having consideration for social and cultural factors.
**What you'll need to succeed**
The successful applicant is required to provide a National Police Clearance that has been issued within the last 6 months, prior to being employed and must hold a current Australian issued Driver's Licence (equivalent to minimum class 'C' - South Australian), which must be maintained. Incumbents must be willing and able to drive all government vehicles within their licence classification during the course of their duties
