Key Responsibilities:
* Direct and schedule a crew of maintenance professionals to achieve daily targets and optimize operational efficiency.
* Provide visible leadership, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
* Ensure strict compliance with all relevant safety regulations, maintaining safety as the top priority and promoting a safe work environment.
* Clearly communicate responsibilities, expectations, and performance metrics to the team, providing necessary support and resources for success.
* Identify, develop, and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
* Monitor team performance and make timely adjustments to guarantee targets are reached, exceeding expectations when possible.
* Deliver clear and comprehensive reporting to management on production progress, challenges, and successes, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within haulage infrastructure in a similar industrial or mining environment.
* In-depth knowledge of haulage operations and logistics within a mining setting, including scheduling and resource allocation.
* Strong leadership and people management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and empower team members to achieve exceptional results.
* Ability to make effective decisions under pressure, adapt to operational needs, and navigate complex situations with ease.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
