About the Position

This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong grasp of lending regulations, compliance, and customer service. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end loan process, assess client financials, structure loan scenarios, and ensure accurate and efficient application submission.

Key responsibilities include:

* Loan Processing & Compliance - Prepare and lodge loan applications via ApplyOnline, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
* Client Financial Assessment - Review income, liabilities, credit reports, and asset positions to assist professionals with serviceability calculations and loan structuring aligned to client goals and lender policy.
* Stakeholder Management - Liaise with lenders, conveyancers, real estate agents, accountants, and valuers to drive timely settlements, escalating issues proactively and managing expectations across all parties.
* Customer Experience & Professional Support - Act as the primary customer contact throughout the loan journey, providing updates, requesting documentation, and supporting professionals with loan sign-ups, annual reviews, and strategic initiatives.
* Data Integrity & Opportunity Identification - Maintain clean, consistent CRM records and identify cross-sell opportunities for professionals and relationship managers.


Requirements:

* Experience & Knowledge - 2-3 years in mortgage broking, lending operations, or financial services, with exposure to residential, investment, and construction lending.
* Technical Skills - Proficient in ApplyOnline, SalesTrekker, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office, confident using lender calculators and interpreting financial documents.
* Qualifications - Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (preferred) and FBAA/MFAA accreditation (preferred but not essential), meeting CPD and compliance standards.
* Professional Standards - Clear Police & Credit Report (mandatory), high attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive, customer-first mindset.
* Availability - Full working rights in Australia and willingness to work weekends when required.
