The Opportunity
We are seeking a qualified Carpenter to join our Brisbane-based service and maintenance team. This role will see you working within the Passive Fire scope of the industry, supporting critical projects that keep our clients safe and compliant. This scope encompasses the inspection and testing, installation and maintenance of fire & smoke doors, fire & smoke walls, fire-stopping to service penetrations and fire dampers.
What You'll Need
* Certificate III in Carpentry.
* QLD Driver's Licence (manual).
* Ability to obtain a police check and construction card.
* Willingness to receive mandatory vaccinations for aged care and QLD Health facilities.
* Sound computer skills and willingness to learn new systems (experience with Uptick and/or Simpro is a bonus).
* Strong focus on workplace safety and proactive risk management.
* Reliable, punctual, resourceful, and motivated with good communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
Nice to Have (Highly Regarded)
* Experience with passive fire installations.
* Working knowledge of the Australian Standards relevant to fire maintenance (training can be provided in-house).
