The position of Assistant Professor A – First Nations Health involves contributing to the teaching, coordination and organisation, resource development, student support, and assessment in the faculty wide First Nations Health Program.
Assistant Professor A equates to Senior Lecturer level in public universities.
This role requires conducting high-quality research and scholarship that advances the knowledge and practice of First Nations and/or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.
Key responsibilities include curriculum development, assessment, teaching, and service in the faculty with a focus on First Nations Health.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A PhD or equivalent in a relevant discipline is essential for this role.
* Developing track record of effective teaching, research, and academic administration within the higher education sector in a First Nations health and education context.
* Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in teams with academics from multiple disciplines are required.
Benefits
The salary for this position commences at $160,204 plus 11.5% superannuation per annum.
