**About the Role**
As Project Lead ICT Infrastructure, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of high-impact ICT infrastructure projects, ensuring outcomes that align with Council's strategic vision.
- Inspire and coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and resilience in our digital infrastructure.
- Build and maintain influential partnerships with internal stakeholders, ICT vendors, and external agencies.
- Champion best practice in project governance, risk management, and quality assurance.
- Support collaborative ICT arrangements with East Gippsland Shire Council and other partner organisations.
- Provide critical project or cyber security support when required, contributing to the Council's capability and resilience.
**About You**
You are a strategic thinker and accomplished project leader, passionate about delivering technology solutions that make a real difference. Your expertise spans ICT/digital projects, change management, and stakeholder engagement, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. You thrive in dynamic environments, balancing competing priorities with professionalism, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence. Your communication and negotiation skills enable you to influence at all levels, from technical teams to executive stakeholders. Relevant tertiary qualifications and certifications (Prince2, Agile, PM) will set you apart.
**Key Selection Criteria**
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (desirable).
- Extensive experience in ICT project management, particularly in infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of ICT infrastructure, systems, and change management.
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering ICT infrastructure projects and initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Project management qualifications (Prince2, Agile, PM) are highly desirable.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience ensuring compliance with governance and quality requirements in project delivery.
- Ability to support collaborative ICT arrangements with other councils and partner organisations.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
