Junior Estimator – Residential Construction

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Junior Estimator to join our team and support our pre-construction and tendering processes.
About the Role
As a Junior Estimator, you will work closely with senior estimators, project managers, and suppliers to assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for residential building projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in construction estimating.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
* Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents
* Perform quantity take-offs and basic cost analysis
* Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotes
* Maintain and update cost databases and records
* Support the estimating team with administrative and reporting tasks
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure project requirements are clearly understood
Skills & Experience
* Trade background preferred
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating software is a plus
* Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
