Join our dedicated cardiac care team as a Nurse Practitioner and make a real difference in patients' lives. This permanent, full-time position offers the chance to work alongside skilled healthcare professionals in our North-based hospital, providing expert cardiac care to our community.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive cardiac assessments and develop treatment plans
* Manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions in hospital settings
* Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and nursing staff
* Provide patient and family education on cardiac health management
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research
* Mentor and support junior nursing staff
Qualifications
* Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA
* Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing or equivalent
* Substantial experience in cardiac or critical care nursing
* Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning
Eligibility
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and endorsed as a Nurse Practitioner.
Salary
$148,470 per annum (Pro rata). Our employer superannuation contribution is 12% on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. A Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type may also be available. Salary packaging includes living expenses up to $9,010 and $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year.
