You have the opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Senior Business Support Officer, working in partnership with Aboriginal people and communities to deliver impactful outcomes. We're looking for a natural collaborator who can bring their expertise in all aspects of organisational and business functions.


About the Role

* The Senior Business Support Officer is responsible for providing high-level strategic administrative support in gathering information, assisting in the formulation and compilation of relevant documents, and assisting in projects, monitoring, and evaluation under supervision.
* Administrative tasks include coordinating logistics for statewide consultation, preparation and management of correspondence and briefs within the team, administration of team financial activities, tracking correspondence, preparation for meetings, and maintaining systems for continuous improvement of organisational performance.

* Cultural Competence: Engage respectfully with records related to the experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in NSW.
* Strategic Thinking: Apply critical thinking to navigate challenges and improve project processes.
* Project Management: Manage multiple priorities, providing high-quality project support while meeting tight deadlines.
* Operational Excellence: Strong administrative and project coordination skills with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes within tight timeframes.
* Adaptability & Initiative: Self-directed professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can pivot quickly between different projects and priorities.

This role is an Identified position under the Section 14d of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977, and as such, Aboriginality is an essential requirement of the role.
