Immediately needed opportunity for a HR Assistant wanting a part-time opportunity to grow their HR career
**Your new company**
Our client operates as a specialist retailer and has stores nationally. A new opportunity has arisen for a part-time HR Assistant to join their team as soon as possible on a temporary basis for the next 2 months to assist the Head of HR with any queries from employees and ensure there is smooth communication from HR. You will help with daily HR activities and assist in coordinating HR policies and procedures. There will also be payroll assistance involved for up to 140 employees.
There is also a very high chance that this role will become a permanent position for the right person.
**Your new role**
This role is for 3 days a week and Mondays and Fridays are a must. It will be your choice which day of the week can be the third day. This new role will have you working autonomously and assisting with complex HR duties such as:
- Reporting into and working closely with the Head of HR
- Updating the database
- Compiling and updating employee records
- Processing fortnightly payroll
- Preparing and processing HR documents and reports
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered you will demonstrate the following:
- A drive to progress your career in the Human Resources space within a nation-wide business
- Previous experience as a HR Assistant
- Effective communication skills
- Processing payroll experience - desirable
- HR tertiary qualifications (desirable)
- You must be professional, approachable, time management skills with attention to detail
