Position

Middle Years Teacher (Years 7‐10) specialising in Humanities and Art.

Responsibilities

• Teach Humanities in the Middle Years, covering History, Civics & Citizenship, Geography, Economics and Business, and some Visual Arts.
• Teach Art for Years 7‐10.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and receive curriculum guidance and support from an experienced Head of Department.
• Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons that meet QCT outcomes and promote critical thinking, literacy, numeracy and 21st‐century skills.
• Support students to develop confidence and independence across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching qualification.
• Full or provisional QCT registration.
• Australian working rights or a valid visa.
• Pre‐service and graduate teachers are encouraged to apply; please include practicum reports, mentor statements and an unofficial transcript.
