About the opportunity
This is a leadership role within our delivery frontline operation, leading a team to prioritise safety, service, and cost.
You'll be
* Provide high level advice and support coordination to assist the Delivery Manager and facility staff.
* Drive performance and process improvement initiatives.
* Assist in the Implementation and monitoring of all facets of Australia Post's Diversity and OH&S Policies and Procedures.
* Assist with the processing and delivery of letters and parcels as needed.
* Coach and where needed conduct performance conversations.
About you
* You hold a current motorcycle licence (provisional or full)
* You're motivated and able to bring the best out of people under your leadership.
* Strong leadership and team building experience.
* Experience in coaching and mentoring co-workers.
* Strong customer service focus involving direct contact with customers.
* Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment.
* Proven experience of prioritising, planning and scheduling.
* Ability to be flexible during periods of change.
