We are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced Baker to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success.About the RoleAs an Experienced Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a wide variety of bread and pastry products using both traditional and modern methods.
You will ensure the highest standards of hygiene, consistency, and quality are maintained at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesWeighing, measuring, and mixing baking ingredients according to recipes and specificationsKneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, and shaping doughsPreparing and baking bread, buns, rolls, and other baked products in ovensMonitoring baking process, temperatures, and timings to ensure high-quality productsAdjusting oven temperatures and ingredients to account for environmental conditions and product qualityMaintaining a clean and hygienic work environment in accordance with food safety standardsPlanning production schedules and managing stock levels of baking ingredientsEnsuring all baked goods are presented attractively and are ready for sale or delivery on timeCollaborating with other team members and mentoring junior staff as neededRequirementsKey RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:At least 3 years' full-time experience as a Baker, ideally in a commercial or artisan bakeryRelevant qualification in baking, patisserie, or commercial cookery (e.g., Certificate III in Baking or equivalent)Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipmentAbility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as requiredStrong attention to detail and a passion for high-quality baked productsGood communication and time management skillsUnderstanding of workplace health and safety and food hygiene regulationsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and job securitySupportive and professional work environmentOpportunities for training and career developmentHow to ApplyIf you're a passionate and experienced Baker looking to join a friendly and skilled team, we want to hear from you
