ABOUT THE ROLE
This full-time role is an opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator to join a fun and creative marketing team working with the Out There Group. With offices in both Kingscliff NSW 2487 or Wollongong 2500 the Marketing Coordinator would be responsible for executing marketing campaigns and promotions for our events to ensure successful attendance and engagement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for events, possess excellent communication skills and have a proven track record in executing successful marketing campaigns. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
* Develop and implement marketing plans for our events including email, social and advertising, that align with core business strategy
* Collaborate with the wider marketing team on ideas, campaign development and execution of ideas
* Collaborate with the wider team, including event operations and commercial departments, to ensure messaging and promotions of our events is consistent with the themes and goals
* Brief graphic design artwork to the in-house graphic designer
* Plan and implement EDM schedules and partner deliverables into social /EDM schedules
* Update calendars, websites and social media pages to keep spectators and entrants informed and engaged
* Create, develop, implement, and update promotional material in line with marketing campaigns including digital and print assets
* Develop direct email communications including copy, build and send through a marketing automation system
* Coordinate internal and external marketing channels including owned, paid, earned, and shared in line with marketing campaigns
* Coordinate smaller projects within the overarching marketing campaign for each event from development, budget, and planning to final execution
* Provide post-event analysis, and regular status reports on all campaign results to optimise marketing strategy for future events
* Liaise with key stakeholders for shared marketing campaigns including planning, implementation, and reporting
* Participate in marketing strategy and planning sessions
* Liaise with the Corporate Sponsorship team to coordinate commercial obligations across the business, aligning key attributes to the marketing and communications schedule
* Coordinate and liaise with key stakeholders on delivery of event audio visual presentations including communication, planning and delivery of all collateral
* Coordinate marketing deadlines through project management software
* Assist the Merchandise Manager in coordination of merchandise production including timelines, ordering, and marketing across our events
ABOUT YOU
* Tertiary education in marketing, communications or a related field
* 1-2 years' experience in a similar role with a focus on marketing and promotions
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Experience with email marketing platforms and social management tools
* Knowledge of website management and content creation
* Able to work collaboratively with a wider team and external stakeholders
* Strong attention to detail & accuracy
* Possess a positive "can do'' solutions approach.
* Able to travel to events across the country
