About the Role
The role of Intake Clinician is a key position within our team, responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services. As an Intake Clinician, you will be working closely with clients to assess, treat, and evaluate their mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
* Deliver evidence-based interventions and group work programs.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
* Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance client care and service delivery.
* Liaise with Senior Intake Officers to monitor and manage client pathways.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* General or Provisional AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse, or Social Worker with AASW registration/eligibility.
* Demonstrated knowledge and skill to undertake routine clinical practice.
* Ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
* Capacity to contribute to professional development through education, networking, and evidence-based practice.
* Eligibility to apply for Blue Card and NDIS worker screening clearance.
