Posted: 5 March
Offer description

Are you a Social Worker looking for a new opportunity to work with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team providing support to vulnerable families and improving outcomes for children and their families?

$58.95 - $60.86 per hour + 12% super & salary packaging | Temporary Part Time 24 hours per week until 27 June 2027 (Wednesday availability essential) | Nowra Child and Family Health Service | REQ644896 | Grade: Social Worker Level 3 | Applications close: 15 March 2026

Join us in shaping healthier futures. Together we can do more. The Sustaining NSW Families (SNF) team is looking for an experienced Social Worker to join our Shoalhaven hub. SNF is a multidisciplinary home visiting service supporting families from pregnancy through to their child's first or second birthday. As our Social Worker, you'll play a key part in supporting families with needs beyond the Nurse Home Visitor role, working closely with Child & Family Health Nurses to build strong, therapeutic relationships with parents and children.

Your work will include casework, group programs, and community education activities in partnership with government and non‐government organisations. You'll be well supported through the ISLHD Department of Social Work and the Kids & Families Social Work network as you work with families facing complex health and social challenges. If you're passionate about making a real difference during the early years of a child's life and looking to be part of something innovative and collaborative, we'd love to hear from you!
