Role Description
Echuca Regional Health is seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Specialist for a part-time hybrid position based in Echuca, Victoria. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients in the emergency department by performing timely assessments, diagnosing conditions, and implementing appropriate treatment plans. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care, contribute to the supervision and training of junior medical staff, and promote best practices in emergency medicine. While the role is primarily located onsite in Echuca, opportunities for remote work are available.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Emergency Medicine, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of acute medical conditions
* Strong skills in leadership, decision-making, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
* Ability to mentor and supervise junior medical staff, promoting a culture of professional development and learning
* Excellent communication skills, patient-centered care approach, and compassionate demeanor
* Relevant qualifications and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Experience in a teaching hospital or sub-regional health service is highly regarded
* Dedication to maintaining knowledge of emerging trends and advancements in emergency medicine
