**About the role**
We are looking for an energetic individual to work across our Bribie and Caloundra offices. This highly rewarding role will be responsible for providing housing services for people who are on low income, homeless or at risk of homelessness and discriminated against in the mainstream housing market.
Your days will be varied and challenging however your key duties will include:
- Managing a diverse housing portfolio - housing allocations, eligibility assessments, rent management and referral advice;
- Proactive tenancy and property management;
- Sustaining tenancies and providing quality customer service;
- Promoting tenant participation and undertaking community engagement activities;
- Conducting periodic property inspections.
Remuneration for this role is $39.26 - $42.25 per hour commensurate with experience.
**About you**
Excellent interpersonal skills are part of your expansive repertoire enabling you to effortlessly build rapport with people. With a naturally empathetic disposition you are compassionate toward vulnerable individuals. You are highly approachable, an adept problem solver who can think quickly on your feet to make apt decisions.
With effective communication skills, you are capable of liaising comfortably with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You have comprehensive knowledge of legislative requirements and effortlessly promote a culture of compliance. This role requires someone that is a strong team player and willing to work in a small close-knit team across two sites.
**_ To be suitable for this position, your qualifications for the role will consist of:_**
- Certificate IV in Social Housing or demonstrated experience in rental property/ tenancy management or other community services role, working within a legislative environment;
- Current driver's licence
- A current National Police Certificate and Blue Card - or the ability to acquire.
