About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Finance Officer to support the CFO and Finance Manager. This position works collaboratively with the Finance Team, Tenancy/Property Managers, Executive Team, Suppliers and Tenants. The role will be primarily based at our Maroochydore head office, with occasional work required in other locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Collating, reconciling and processing payments.
* Financial data entry on a daily basis and reconciling the relevant accounts.
* Assist with monthly financial reports.
* Maintain records and filing systems.
* Accounts receivable function including issuing invoices and donations receipts.
* Managing group email inbox.
* Other routine activities of a clerical and administrative nature.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications
* Previous experience working in a finance or administration position with knowledge of financial, general clerical and administrative duties.
* Accounting degree (desirable) or relevant qualification in Business Administration, Accounting or Management i.e. Certificate IV.
* Demonstrated knowledge of office procedures and systems including Microsoft Office, and working knowledge of Xero preferred.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
* Sound time management & organisational skills.
* Use of empathy, confidentiality and politeness when dealing with clients of the service.
Other Mandatory Requirements
* Current National Police Certificate, Integrity Checks and Blue Card.
* Eligibility to live and work in Australia.
* Current Queensland driver's licence.
