**Mechanical Officer**

- Attractive annual salary $81,819 - $93,785 p.a. plus 10.5% superannuation

You will play a pivotal role in inspecting, servicing, overhauling and repairing mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems, equipment and components on Rural Fire Service vehicles to contribute to the reliability and availability levels for the emergency response fleet.
Your focus would be on maintaining fire fighting appliances and support vehicles, analysing problems and taking actions to allow vehicles to remain in or return to service. The role manages the maintenance of the fleet liaising with Council workshops, and external providers facilitating efficient repairs and maintenance while minimising disruption to services. This includes performing less complex tasks peripheral and incidental to core tasks across trade and non-trade streams.
