What position do we have available?
We're looking for a Service Specialist who thrives on problem-solving, precision, and teamwork — someone who can bridge the gap between technical excellence and customer satisfaction.
As our Service Specialist, you'll be the go-to expert for all things technical across WIA and Miller equipment. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting our service network, assessing warranty and non-warranty claims, and driving improvements in equipment performance.
This is a hands-on, analytical, and collaborative role that sits at the intersection of engineering, customer service, and product innovation.
You'll work closely with our Service Agents, Sales Teams, Product Developers, and Equipment Suppliers to ensure that every piece of WIA and Miller equipment in the field performs at its best — every time.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
* Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose complex technical faults and provide expert advice to service agents and customers.
* Data & Reporting: Analyse field performance data, prepare detailed technical reports, and identify opportunities for design and quality improvements.
* Warranty Management: Coordinate and process warranty claims with accuracy and efficiency.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the vital link between customers, service partners, and our internal teams to ensure swift resolution of issues and continuous product improvement.
Is this the perfect role for you?
You're a qualified Electrician or have a strong electrical trade background, with a passion for solving complex technical problems in industrial equipment. You're detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
You'll Bring:
* Proven experience in troubleshooting and servicing electrical or electronic industrial equipment (ideally welding-related).
* Strong knowledge of welding processes and industry standards.
* Experience with warranty or claims management in a manufacturing or capital equipment environment.
* Exceptional analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
* A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
