Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Infrastructure Designer to join our team. As a key member of the Department of Transport and Main Roads QLD, you will be responsible for applying and upholding relevant standards, policies, guidelines, and legislative requirements for road infrastructure design and construction.
Main Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and implement engineering, project management, and quality assurance procedures to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
* Undertake tendering and estimating activities to support project development and delivery, ensuring timely completion and optimal outcomes.
* Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
* Lead and coordinate project teams, leveraging expertise to drive innovation and excellence in road infrastructure design and construction.
Key Requirements:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Proven experience in infrastructure design and construction, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and project management best practices.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
