THE OPPORTUNITY
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Assistant Store Manager based in Huntingwood. This position involves working as part of our collaborative retail team - reporting to the Store Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Face to face and telephone sales
* Leading and participating in training and personal development sessions
* Assisting with the development of rosters and training programmes
* Store merchandising and stock control
* Assisting with general store management activities
* Collaborate with team members, other business areas and projects as required
* Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
ABOUT YOU
* A passion to deliver outstanding customer service
* Dynamic communication skills
* An eye for detail whilst working in a fast paced environment
* The ability to coach and develop your teams skills
* The ability to build your customer base and attract and manage trades business
* Proven selling skills
* Experience in retail management
* Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
* Whilst experience is great, it'll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart
As our stores operate 6 days per week, you will be required to work some weekends.
