Senior Site Manager Role
This is a challenging site-based position requiring full-time presence in Euroa and Benalla regions. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of multiple civil and rail-related projects, coordinating diverse teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve safe and high-quality results.
About This Opportunity
* Manage end-to-end construction activities across regional sites, ensuring works are planned, sequenced, and delivered in line with technical requirements, safety standards, and project objectives.
The role involves leading cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving productivity. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage site-based teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard.
* Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
* Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and local communities.
* Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements
* Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in the civil or rail sectors.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
* A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
* Relevant certifications, such as a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, would be highly regarded.
