We're working with a leading mining company in Perth seeking a skilledCloud & Application Engineerto design, build, and manage applications across cloud, OT/Edge, and research computing environments.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and manage applications across cloud, OT/Edge, and research computing environments.
Proven experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes.
Strong background in API development and integration.
Hands-on expertise with data-intensive and high-performance computing applications.
Proficiency in AWS cloud and cloud-native services.
Strong coding skills in Python and TypeScript.
Mastery of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Experience building automated DevOps workflows and release processes.
Bonus Skills
Familiarity with open-source observability platforms.
Knowledge of application security best practices.
Exposure to scientific computing environments and workflows.
Understanding of containerisation for research applications.
TheirTech Stack
GitHub, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Kubernetes (OpenShift/Managed), Cloud, Linux, Python, PowerShell, Bash, plus open-source monitoring stacks and specialist research software.
