About This Role
We are currently looking for either a Simulator Technician or Senior Simulator Technician to join our Hawk 127 crew in Williamtown.
Role Responsibilities:
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on training devices under support.
Report to the Maintenance Manager to ensure training events are executed and contracted services are available to end users.
For Senior Simulator Technicians: act as shift leader, ensuring safety for all staff, visitors, and customers, and serve as the point of contact for technical maintenance inquiries during shifts.
Act as delegate for the Maintenance Manager during their absence.
This is a full-time role based at RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW.
The Role We Are Offering:
Lead maintenance shifts to achieve effective outcomes.
Execute maintenance actions complying with internal and external standards.
Supervise maintenance shifts for resource efficiency.
Train and mentor Simulator Technicians and Apprentices to develop a competent workforce.
Our Ideal Candidate Has:
Experience as a simulator technician or related field.
Cert IV in Aeroskills or equivalent (preferred).
Experience with Defence and/or Hawk platform (preferred).
Electrical and/or IT background (preferred).

Must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, preferably holding current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
