Screen Printer
**MAIN PURPOSE & SCOPE OF JOB**
We are looking for a highly motivated person, with real attention to detail to join our independent Perth-based clothing label.
Pure Apparel was established in 2013 by artist and designer, Matt Adams and was born from his love of surf, travel and design. We do everything in house, from designing products, to printing, packing and posting to both retail and wholesale customers.
As a small business, we are all really hands on and we are looking for an experienced Screen-printer who can come on board immediately and give us a hand with our orders leading up to Christmas.
Typical duties will include:
- Screen prep: screen cleaning and preparation
- Ink mixing
- Screen printing of jobs
**POSITION IN ORGANISATION**
You will report to Faye Millar and Matt Adams, Owner and Director.
**MANDATORY ATTRIBUTES**
- **Extensive Screenprinting experience**:
- High levels of attention to detail, flexibility and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work flexible hours, when required
- A willingness to learn new skills
**PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES**
- Design / Art / Print qualification or degree
- Photoshop and/or design skills
- Car and driving license
**HOURS OF WORK**
There are up to **30+ of printing a week available **for the next **4 weeks** leading up to Xmas, starting anytime from **Monday 28th November.**
As this is initially a temporary position, **hours are 100% flexible** and we're happy for you to work around other jobs/do days/hours that work for you.
There may be an opportunity for this to turn into a more permanent position in the New Year.
**LOCATION**
The business is currently run from our home studio in Hamilton Hill.
